Recently, our Karabots Junior Fellows were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the Your Brain exhibit located at The Franklin Institute’s brand new Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion. We were joined by staff and students from The Franklin Institute as well as our funders, Nicholas and Athena Karabots of the Karabots Foundation. We were extremely grateful for the opportunity to view the exhibit several weeks before it opens to the public and, most importantly, we had a blast! The new exhibit is amazing! There’s a two-story neuron to climb through.
There are interactive exhibits galore, including brain teasers and lie detectors and just about everything you could think of to twist and tantalize your mind. We are so grateful to the staff at the Franklin, who were always on hand to make sure we were learning and having a ball. We won’t spoil the entire exhibit for you, though. You have to go when it opens to the public on June 14th. Thank you again to all the staff at The Franklin Institute who made this possible. And our sincerest thanks goes to Nicholas and Athena Karabots for their continued efforts to bring amazing educational opportunities to the people of Philadelphia.
